Welcome to Reds in the Community
On behalf of Workington AFC we would like to offer a warm welcome to our website for Reds in the Community, the community arm of the football club. Established in 2017, RITC has quickly developed into one of Cumbria’s leading sports coaching providers. Each year we develop our key programmes but always strive to maintain our principles of excellence, professionalism and dedication. We specialise in Primary School Sports Provision and offer elite footballers the opportunity to develop their potential within our Academy. In addition to this we also provide school holiday camps, football sessions, 1-2-1 coaching and birthday parties. We also aim to engage and develop partnerships with community organisations to provide fund raising initiatives.
ACADEMY
The Academy boasts teams from U7s to U21s with the clear objective to create a pathway for players from an early age through to the 1st team here at Workington AFC.
EDUCATION
RITC specialise in Primary School sports coaching, but our uniqueness is that our service to the school includes a profit-share model that will ensure sustainable school sport for years to come.

Our aim is to attract the best young players locally to Workington AFC. Create a professional and enjoyable environment which provides players with the opportunity to progress their careers further with us, other non-league clubs or within the professional game.
